Idaho Specialty Foods
Association was formed in
1988, as a non-profit association organized to provide producers
of specialty foods, beverages and related industries, the benefits
of networking, cooperative marketing, information, and support to
new and existing small businesses.
Idaho
is a Rocky Mountain state with exciting scenery and enormous natural
resources. The popular name for Idaho is the Gem
State due to the many valuable minerals found throughout
the state. The newest found gems are the Idaho Specialty Food Producers.
The diversity of climate and peoplemeans a myriad of Idaho items
produced in our own backyard and sold throughout the world.
We publish a membership
directory, hold annual state product competitions for our members,
host a tri-state conference with Washington and Oregon each year,
designate June as Specialty Foods Month, contribute to an Idaho
Cook Book, attend trade shows, and most importantly, lend a hand
to new and growing businesses. We depend financially on our annual
dues from members of ISFA
